Personalised Palettes - Crowd Colour

A few weeks ago me and a friend were talking about how great it would be if someone out there came up with a truly personalised makeup palette, something that you could design inside and out. Imagine opening your makeup case in the morning to be greeted with personalised designs and palettes laid out just how you want them, bliss right?

Well this week I had a very exciting delivery land on my doorstep from Crowd Colour. It was as if someone had been listening to our conversation and made it just a few weeks later.

I first became aware of Crowd Colour on Twitter when I spotted their Kickstarter project, so when they asked me if I would like to receive a palette of my very own, I knew I had to jump at the chance. I opted to have my blog logo on the cover and it turned out so sleek.

The size I received is a medium base palette and holds up to 15 standard sized 26mm pans priced at £14.

You can also get a small & large palette for £11 & £16, which are perfect gift prices.

I love the idea behind the brand because the world truly is your oyster. I myself think these would make great bridesmaids gifts, birthday presents full of memories or just offer great way to get all creative and design something truly unique.

You can start creating your own now at and use the discount code Thankyou20 to get money off at the checkout.

Give your face the gift of Roses.

With Valentine's Day here, I'm coming over all romantic, so I've put together a few of my favourite rose based beauty products so you can treat your face to some luxurious TLC.

Super facialist Rose Hydrate Creamy Cleanser £7.99 -  Boots.

This thick rose scented cleanser is formulated with Shea and cocoa butter to leave your skin silky soft. The addition of marshmallow and allanatoin restore skins natural PH balance to give sensitive skin all the love it needs.

Collection Reviving & Anti-Fatigue Illuminating Primer £4.99 - Boots.

This primer feels like a dream in a tube. I've been using it none stop in Cool Rose. With a sheer liquid feel it perfects and primes your skin ready for makeup application, but I find it also cools and soothes my skin ready for the day ahead.

Boots Traditional Glycerin and Rosewater  £2.39 - Boots.

An oldie but a goodie, this moisturising toner is cooling and refreshing on the skin. Not a bad buy for its £2.39 price tag!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat £28 - Liberty london.

Not exactly rose infused, but swipe this rosy pink blush on your cheeks for a soft just been kissed glow.

Quick Fix Facials Calming Clay Mask £4.99 - Boots.

This rose infused mask helps minimise redness and irritation. With oatmeal for dryness, Aloe Vera to reduce inflammation and Camomile to soothe and calm the skin, this all round mask does it all for those with sensitive skin.

Colour Riche Collection PrivĂ©e Red Lipstick Julianne £6.99 - Superdrug.

This rosey red lipstick is the perfect pop of colour against pale skin. This whole collection of lipsticks is beautiful and they won't break the bank. You can pick the perfect colour for your skin tone which is the perfect winner for me.

Makeup Revolution Goddess of love Triple Baked Highlighter £4.99. Makeup Revolution.

This is one of my favourite all time highlighters, with it being Valentines, rose or not I couldn't not include this adorable heart shaped highlighter. Offering the brightest pearlescent glow it's the perfect addition to any makeup bag.

Until Next Time

Happy Valentines.
