Abstraction - A series of Makeup Looks

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen my makeup looks and know I love anything a little bit abstract. From 100 looks in 100 days, to 14 days of valentines, I'm always looking for ways to flex my makeup brushes.

Over the past few weeks I've put together some images, inspired by abstract art.

"And he said you are a work of art, my love."

One Minute Hand Scrub - L'occitaine Review

This week I am so excited to bring you one of my new, all time favourite discoveries.

If you follow my Twitter wittering, you will know I struggle severely with dry hands. I have tried every cream, scrub and magic lotion offered and recommended out there only to find I still have the hands of a 100 year old.

My answer has come in the form of L'occitaine's One Minute Hand Scrub.

With a specially formulated one minute recipe this scrub reveals super soft hands in just 1 minute.

The formula offers a mix of organic brown exfoliating sugar to gently scrub and eliminate dead skin cells and a blended mix of Shea, sweet almond and grapeseed oils to soften and smooth hands all over.

With rave reviews all over their website, I can see myself why this product is so loved.

The first time I tried it I instantly fell in love and have since been using it once a week. You can also use this product on your feet for super soft heels all summer long.

With a handy little spatula included in the pack, it makes application a breeze and with only 1 minute to wait, this makes the perfect beauty companion to those of us who are short on time.

L'oreal Superliner Black & Sculpt

My favourite liquid eyeliner of all time is definitely L'oreal Superliner. I've been using it for a long time now and I can safely say that there is no other liner I've tried that creates a perfect flick like it.

When I was strolling through boots the other day checking out what new products were available, this L'oreal Superliner caught my eye. I don't know if you've spotted it yet, but what caught my eye the most was the shape of the nib.

When I first tried it, it reminded me of a ball point pen, but I do have to admit I was a bit nervous of its application, so below I've pictured a handy tutorial of how I get the perfect flick.

You can get your hands on the Superliner Black & Sculpt from boots for £6.99.

What She Wears - Denim

Spring, Spring, Spring! It's here and summer is so close I can almost smell the flowers in the air.

With spring in full swing it's got warm weather fashion on my mind, so the other day when the sun was shining bright, it was the perfect opportunity to dive into my wardrobe and pull out my summer Faves.

I love this laid back layered look of a high neck body on style dress, with a more relaxed denim shirt dress. I paired it with a pair of bright orange red heels and ensured my peepers were safe from the sun with these cool sunglasses from Stradivarius.

The look:

One shirt, Three ways.

Every wardrobe has its staples and the white shirt is no exception. Whether you're building a capsule wardrobe, or you've just sank some major spends into a new signature piece, the secret to building a stylish and affordable wardrobe is knowing how to mix staples up to create new and different outfits every time.

Today I'm taking a look at the classic white shirt. My shirt of choice is from Hawkins and Shepherd and is a classic pin collar style. I love that the pin is interchangeable as it means you can instantly change the look, before you even go delving into your wardrobe.

Work

For smart to casual workwear, I've layered the shirt with this split side Boohoo jumper. If you follow my blog you'll know I love the colour grey, it's versatile and goes with almost anything. I'd team this combo with black cigarette pants and finish the look off with classic black brogues and add a pop of personality with a bright colored satchel for all those office essentials.

Wandering

For those casual days of city wandering, I've teamed the white shirt with a black waistcoat duster. I love how this looks paired with super skinny jeans and some comfy block heel ankle boots.

Weekend

For those nights when you're running from desk to dance floor, pack light and team your white shirt with a black leather pencil skirt. Finish off the look with lashings of red lipstick, chic waves and some trophy heels and you'll be sipping cocktails and dancing way into the AM.
