Cote Brasserie - Shrewsbury Loves

This year, I've vowed to get back to the roots of What She Did and remember where all of this started, reviewing my favourite restaurants and checking out new places about town. Now in my fourth year, my blog has evolved and can lend itself to anything from the latest place to eat, to the best Mascara to buy, but I never want to forget where the blog has come from, so this week when I was invited to the launch of the new Cote Brasserie in town, it seemed only right to take a peek.

Having never eaten at Cote before, I was excited for one to finally land its foundations in Shrewsbury. Committed to producing authentic French classics the Cote menu uses ingredients of the highest quality.

As we all gathered for a night of champagne and canapés we were lucky enough to try some delights.

As well as getting to try some light bites from their menu I popped in a few days earlier to try their breakfast. Perfectly located within the quiet bustle of the square, the restaurant lends itself perfectly to lazy brunches and early evening pre cinema dinners. In the summer the outdoor area offers the perfect location to soak up the sun whilst enjoying a spot of people watching and it's laid back atmosphere means you can comfortably relax whether alone or accompanied by a group.

Whilst visiting for breakfast I tried the vegetarian breakfast, which had some of the tastiest veggie sausages I've tried. The menu is extensive and offers a wide selection of breakfast before 12pm, perfect for those lazy mornings.
I can't wait to get back to Cote and give their evening menu a whirl, but from what I've heard so far through word of mouth, I think it will firmly find it's place as a staple eatery in Shrewsbury in no time at all.
Until Next Time
