My Experience with L'Oréal & The Matte Addiction collection

If you haven’t already seen, in January I was incredibly lucky to be asked to be one of 14 girls to feature in the new L’Oréal Matte Addiction campaign.

I headed down to London for a day with L’Oréal and filmed a new ad for their social media coverage. I was so nervous on the day that I couldn’t stop my lip quivering, not ideal when you’re trying to shoot an ad about lipstick.

The team were so great and welcoming and put me at ease and I couldn’t be more happy, or grateful for the result and opportunity. As a micro Influencer, it’s great to see a brand like L’Oréal working with such a diversity of bloggers for each campaign that they do.

Anyway, onto the lipsticks. I’ve always been a lover of L’Oréal lipsticks, with my colour collection growing every time I pop into Boots, so when I saw the new collection was on three for two, I had to treat myself to my shade and two others.

The formula is similar to their other lipsticks from the Color Riche range, in that it offers incredible wear and pigmentation, all whilst offering a beautiful Matte finish.

I opted for shades Hype, Moka Chic and Scarlet Silhouette which offer a beautiful blend of bold summer brights, a classic essential red and a delicate dreamy every day nude.

I couldn’t be happier to add these to my ever growing L’Oréal collection and can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
